Mr. Weekend brings you the perfect 1940's aloha print inspired booniehat. Over five hours go into making these, from hand cutting each component, to hand dyeing, hand stamping, hand painting then handcrafting to its completion. An iconic collector's item celebrating the art of true leisure.
The boonie hat silhouette is inspired by US military hats issued during Vietnam War. They provide more shelter than your typical bucket hat. They are referred to as Giggle Hats or Bush hats in Australia.
These hats are made from rescued lightweight cotton farm coveralls and has a softly structured shape, so it packs away easily into your bag or suitcase. Its hand-stamped pattern features the brand's logo and a classic topstitched brim that's wide enough to shield your eyes and neck from the sun. This cap is a comfortable pick, whether you're by the water or eating al fresco.
